For years this small indigenous town in North West Argentina was mentioned just for Hector Tizon novel, Fire in Casabindo. But the colorfull feast of Ascencion de la Virgen is now atracting thousands of visitors who dare to climb Jujuy highlands some 4,000 meters above sea level.
Indians play their music and dance, parade in the streets and at the end brave men face brave bulls in the town square.
