He is probably the better known photographer of his country, Chile, where he shoot some of his iconic pictures like that of a survivor of the 2010 tsunami holding a Chilean flag over the ruins of his home. Working for The Associated Press, Roberto covered the more important Latin American issues for 15 years. His work deserved 22 photojournalism awards. While working now as a freelance, Roberto teaches in some important universities of Santiago and participates of the National Council for Culture and Arts of his country. Even if his career was based in journalism, Roberto Candia is one of the more relevant artist in the photographic field all over Latin America.

48 imagesEl italiano Lorenzo Moscia se graduó de abogado en 1999 en Milan. Pero estaba claro que el Derecho no era lo suyo: en su primer caso como abogado, un simple tramite de divorcio, su cliente murió fulminado por un infarto en los mismísimos tribunales de Milán, frente a Lorenzo. Moscia colgó la toga y se fue a la Isla de Pascua donde desarrolló su verdadera pasión, la fotografía. Se quedó en Chile a partir de 2001 y allí publicó sus dos libros, uno sobre Isla de Pascua (Luces de Rapa Nui) y otra sobre la clausurada mina de Lota. A su notable carrera como fotógrafo Lorenzo esta agregando otra como director, guionista y realizador de videos documentales. Sus dos producciones, Arroz con Mango (sobre Cuba) y a la Sombra del Moai realizado en Rapa Nui, han ganado ya 8 premios y fueron seleccionados para una docena de festivales en America Latina y Europa. Con su video sobre Rapa Nui, donde Lorenzo sigue la historia de una misma familia desde hace 12 años, ganó también el primer premio en el Festival de la Patagonia de Chile. Lorenzo participa en Archivolatino desde los comienzos de la agencia, y tuvo a su cargo innumerables trabajos especiales para las revistas más destacadas del mundo entero. Luego de 13 años en Chile, Lorenzo regresó a Italia desde donde sigue colaborando con Archivolatino.
