Volcano Puyehue, in the Chilean Patagonia spits tower of ash. A volcano dormant for decades erupted in south-central Chile Saturday 2nd June 2011, belching an ash cloud more than 6 miles high. Chilean and Argentina authorities should take action to protect the population, evacuated nearby towns and airports closed. The landscape near the Puyehue volcano like the surface of the moon two month later the eruption.
