20 years after his failed coup, Chavez, more powerful than ever

Feb. 4th, 1992, a so far unknown group of army officers tried a failed coup against constitutional Venezuelan President Carlos Andres Perez. For the first time ever, Venezuelan people got to know the name of a thin and energetic colonel, Hugo Chavez, the leader of the revolt. Chavez went to jail for a couple of years while his myth spreaded unstopable.
Now , after a troubled political process of two decades, Chavez has become the more powerful president of Venezuela ever.
